The Sr. Acquisition Specialist/Program Manager (PM) will be responsible for overseeing the cost, schedule, and performance of this contract and have demonstrated expertise in personnel resource allocation/supervision and contract management.
- Documentation Support/Scheduling and Schedule Integration Management.
- Provide documentation Support/Scheduling and Schedule Integration Management in support of the portfolio
- Employees’ work will be limited to supporting the Project Officer and Acquisition Specialist in a manner that ensures the Government retains inherently governmental decision-making authority; and shall not perform any functions specifically mandated as government employee functions. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, activities that require either the exercise of discretion in applying government authority or the making of value judgments in decision-making for the Government.
- Create and maintain a project schedule for each assigned project which lists all tasks and milestones required for successful delivery of the project within a timescale to allow transparency for current activities and preparation for future activities.
- Update schedules weekly and communicate them to all stakeholders after vetting with the project team and receiving appropriate feedback.
- Coordinate and manage meeting logistics, note-taking, action item management, and attendance accountability to include program communications for several programs
- Attend various meetings and provide technical and programmatic interchanges in support of programs
Requirements
8 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.Experience with the sustainment of DoD weapon systems
Desired Certifications: PMP and APDP (Program Management)
U.S. citizen, active passport, active Secret clearance with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret required
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical engineering field, business, or management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
Must be able to travel
On-site at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM
