As the Production Supervisor you will bear the responsible for overseeing frontline associates to manufacture products using efficient and safe production processes.
Position-Related Responsibilities and Key Job Duties
- Lead team to maximize productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Support operation to help reduce overall costs.
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Manage line efficiencies, key performance indicators and down time.
- Perform within labor and OPEX budget.
- Monitor the production process, makes periodic checks and adjusts equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure equipment in the area assigned is in working order and that working conditions are continually safe.
- Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up and supervise change overs.
- Manage overall package and product quality to ensure all standards and specifications.
- Respond to company needs with expert quality and timeliness that contribute to successful outcomes.
Education and Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years in supervisory roles of people & processes
- High School Diploma or General Education
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1-3 year’s Production/Manufacturing experience
- Requires experience managing people/budgets.
- Basic computer and database application skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems
- Working knowledge of key business drivers used to gauge the effectiveness and performance of an internal group or supplier.
Preferred Technical Skills
- ISO (22000, 9000, 14001, etc.) or other management system
- Working knowledge of food safety
- Continuous Improvement
- Change Management
- Operational Excellence
- Lean manufacturing concepts
Skills:
Pay Range:
$110,000 - $115,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
