Advanced Production Associate

Description

This position is one of a kind! 

Located in our Finish Mill, the Curved/Bow Front Door Area is a highly detailed position that will require a great amount of woodworking knowledge. 

This position would be a PA3 job grade in department F10. 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Follows all safety rules and contributes to a safe work environment.

2. Follows established manufacturing procedures under assigned department which may include but is not limited to:

3. Sands, putty’s and scrapes parts to specification

4. Operates various hand and power tools

5. Spray and wipe stain on and off of product

6. Load or unload product

7. Product Assembly

8. Boxing Product

9. Tool Repair

10. Checks in parts, verifies count, quality and identification of all product that is produced in assigned area, prior to shipment to the next process.

11. Participates and contributes to a Work Team environment and follows quality control checks.

12. Contributes to meeting Bertch manufacturing schedule.

13. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

The craftsman for this role will need:

• Strong math skills: the ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply.
• Ability to understand directions and blueprints.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Machine or hand tool experience preferred. 
• Meets Bertch Quality standards.
• Mechanical aptitude or spatial awareness.
• Has a passion for intricate woodworking. 
• Great attitude and attendance.
