Noblis MSD has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Developer who will work 100% onsite at NIWC Pacific in Point Loma.  Candidate MUST possess an active TS clearance and be SCI eligible. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage 3 agile software teams, all geographically dispersed.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert and leader on software and systems engineering
  • Drive implementation of automation and DevOps best practices
  • Pilot negotiations and settle matters involving complex technical issues, programmatic requirements, or controversial issues, and lead consensus building among stakeholders with diverse and often conflicting interests.
  • Bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, simplifying complex topics for clear understanding across teams.
  • Define overarching goals and lead the development of roadmaps, ensuring clear alignment with both team and leadership visions.
  • Monitor and communicate progress

Required Qualifications

  • Must have Bachelors Degree in a technical field + 5 years experience (or Associates + 8 years or High School + 11 years)
  • Must possess TS Clearance and be eligible for SCI
  • Must be CSWF Certified including active IA certification and applicable training (Sec+, etc..)
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with automating deployment of various infrastructure elements using tools such as: Packer, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell/CLI, Python, etc.
  • Experience managing and optimizing VMware environments, including vSphere and vCenter.
  • Experience configuring and managing ArgoCD for continuous deployment and GitOps practices.
  • Experince with Linux operating systems administration
  • Experience configuring and managing AWX/Ansible Tower for effective automation and orchestration.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Experience implementing and managing security controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience documenting processes, configurations, and system changes.
  • US citizen.

  • Naval Shipboard Experience
  • CANES experience
  • Certification in Linux, MS, and/or VMware
  • Experience collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
