We are seeking a talented Application Analyst (help desk support) for the Training and Operational Readiness Information Services (TORIS) program at Afloat Training Group, Pacific, San Diego, CA. TORIS is the authoritative software program for managing surface ship training and readiness. This help desk position will provide the customer or end user with information and support related to TORIS products and services.

Requirements

• Experience with DoD Help Desk System.
• At least two years of experience providing application support for an information system.
• Experience in functional support and development of management information systems, work breakdown structures, or work simplification techniques.
• Knowledge of Naval information system projects including Fleet Support, maintenance, documentation, testing, installation, or ship upgrade of Navy shipboard systems listed.
• Experience working creating reporting, user documentation and procedural documents.
• Experience with Windows technology and clearing trouble tickets.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.

Mandatory Certifications:

• Shall be certified Information Assurance Technical or Management Level I in accordance with DoD 8570.1.

Software/Programs Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of Program tools.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

• Knowledge of computer networks and systems and programs.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually.
