Marketing Design Intern-Hybrid Ann Arbor, MI

We are seeking a creative and motivated Design part-time Intern to join the Marketing team of a Biotechnology company and assist with layout and design work. The intern will be supporting the Lab Products & Services division. This role involves use of Adobe creative cloud tools for layout and design, adherence to brand templates and standards, and use of project management tools for team collaboration. This position is hybrid, and located in Ann Arbor, MI.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Assisting in the graphic development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, application notes, articles and infographics.
• Ensuring all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts.
• Assist in the management and organization of design assets and files.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to bring fresh ideas to the team.

What will convince us:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., advertising, graphic design, visual arts, or related field).
• Minimum 3 years' experience using Adobe Creative Suite software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. The maximum number of hours is 35.
• Understanding of Creative Suite AI features is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and brand compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Organizational skills for project management and file management.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Portfolio of original design work may be requested.
• Interest in Life Sciences is a plus.
