We are searching for the best talent for a Marketing Manager of Academic Health Systems, located in Raritan, NJ. This role will require you to be in the office three times per week, with domestic travel of 40%.
Purpose: The Marketing Manager of Academic Health Systems will partner with Key Account Management Directors (KADs), Strategic System Leads (SSLs), the field sales organization (FSO), Professional Education, Specialty and Platform Marketing to create a KOL engagement model for aligned prioritized Academic Health Systems. The Marketing Manager, Academic Health Systems will co-lead clinical and non-clinical KOL advisory groups to derive critical insights to advise strategies to advance Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery competitiveness and drive sustained growth in this vital growth segment for the organization.
In this role, the Marketing Manager, AHS will build relationships with an extensive network of KOLs and influencers in priority Academic Health Systems. This person will connect with a wide array of cross-functional teammates to identify organizational needs for evidence generation, faculty recruitment, and partnership on new technology development. The Marketing Manager, AHS will then help their cross-function teammates to identify the appropriate KOLs to integrate with the fulfillment of these needs. This person will work very closely with their peer Marketing Manager for AHS, along with the Manager of US Professional Education for AHS, and Senior Manager for AHS to ensure actions are in sync and approach is coordinated and strategically aligned. This person has the responsibility to deliver against specified budgets and timeframes and will ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.
You will be responsible for:
- Travelling is a requirement for this role and can include up to 40% travel within the calendar year to execute advisory boards, society meetings, customer visits, and site visits
- Collaborate with Professional Education, members of the FSO, specialty and platform Marketing, and KAM to create an enduring KOL influencer map and devise an actionable KOL engagement model for aligned AHS.
- Collaborate with AHS KOL Engagement peer and Senior Manager of AHS to ensure actions are in sync and approach is coordinated and strategically aligned.
- Partner with Professional Education, KAM, and FSO to build clinical and non-clinical KOL advisory groups from prioritized AHS, and conduct routine engagements to extract insights that inform strategies and customized account plans.
