The client's Digital Platform Team has a mission is to build highly collaborative, engaging product that transform the conduct of Clinical Trials to be truly digital, decentralized and mobile. Their mobile apps meet the high bars of quality, and security that health care enterprises need to succeed in Clinical Trials field.
As a Senior IT Product Manager, you will drive critical, cross-functional features in partnership with business and technology stakeholders spanning across engineering teams to deliver innovative features for our Trial Connect Mobile App. You see this product through from inception to the hands of the business and users, ensuring effective communication and timely, high-quality delivery. You must be proactive, flexible, have a passion for technology, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative environment.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Work in clinical research industry on the internal product used to accelerate clinical trials conducted by the client across the world.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic, complex and innovative features for the Icon Patient Portal and its Trial Connect Mobile App.
- Build holistic plans incorporating dependencies, key deliverables and milestones, and risk mitigation to ensure a strong foundation for delivering success of the program.
- Drive all aspects of product management (planning, data gathering, analysis, communication, risk management and mitigation, status tracking and reporting, implementation, monitoring, execution), and to successfully carry out the research, development and maintenance of Trial Connect Mobile App.
- Influence and collaborate across teams including engineering, product, security, validation and compliance, go-to-market, and more to effectively build commitment with our business and sponsors.
- Effectively communicate product plans as well as risks and issues to all stakeholders.
- Partner with program leadership to identify and solve cross-functional challenges.
- Work together with business to understand stakeholder’s needs and manage the execution to turn those needs into outcome developed by the software engineering team.
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- Proven experience in senior roles in Product Management, Release Management or similar (8+ years), including 4+ years driving delivery of complex and innovative solutions. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Previous experience in engineering role with strong understanding of development needs, workflows, and challenges in a highly regulated industry.
- Strong technical background and understanding of software delivery processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Extensive experience and proficient understanding of standard Agile and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle, with a focus on software management and delivery tools, especially Confluence and Jira. CMS/A-CSM will be a significant plus.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on addressing issues effectively.
- Exhibit independent, critical thinking to navigate through ambiguity from a vague problem to a detailed solution.
- Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to prioritize and manage key challenges.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a proven ability to adapt well in a fast-paced tech environment and collaborate closely with teams on different operating cadences.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and track metrics related to delivery and productivity.
- Passion for creating impactful mobile products and driving delivery and productivity.
- Flexibility to work with US timezones from time to time to synchronize.
- Ability to work in client's office in Warsaw at least 2 days per week (with possibility of reducing it after few months).
