Senior Manager, SVP – Identity Access Management

DIMENSIONS:  

• Leads the overall direction and strategy of the Identity Access Management function in collaboration with the CISO and SECU’s leadership team.
• Maintain and enhance a scalable and robust IAM program including governance, assessment, monitoring, reporting and metrics.
• Coaches, mentors, and develops staff. Champions continuous improvement, including creating new strategies and opportunities. Leads staff development initiatives that include training, development, and succession planning.
• Develops goals, documents performance, provides feedback and formally evaluates work of employees. Provides reward and recognition for proper and efficient performance.
• Maintain financial and performance goals for the department.
• Work with Cyber Security and Business leadership to ensure that the program meets the needs of the business and complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: 

• Leadership, teamwork, collaboration, self-driven and effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Ability to identify skill needs, recruits, and retains applicable talent.
• A sound understanding of IAM and Cybersecurity concepts including but not limited to privilege access management, the IAM lifecycle, access models, just-in-time access models, and role-based access control implementations.
• 8-10+ years of management experience working in information security or technology environment.
• 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following IAM dimensions: 
  • Development IAM program strategy, tools, and techniques
  • Active Directory
  • Customer Identity and Access Management
  • Hybrid IAM deployment
  • Experience with IAM Cloud services such as Azure Active Directory or AWS Cognito
  • Executive level communication
• Working knowledge of various industry security standards and frameworks including: NIST, ISO 27001, ISF Standard of Good Practice (SoGP), etc.
• Energy, focus & stature to excel – strong leadership presence, prominence in the industry and can rally people in a multi-site operational structure. Strong work ethic and a high drive and focus.
• Demonstrates optimism and determination when facing challenges.
• Demonstrable experience building teams and IAM related services.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred: 

• Knowledge of modern enterprise and security architectures, their challenges, common approaches to overcome their challenges, and their inherent security strengths and weaknesses.
• Professional certifications relevant to information security and related fields
• Experience working with customer and workforce IAM.
• Experience managing or engineering solutions such as CyberArk, OKTA, MS Azure, MS365, and SailPoint
