We are seeking a VP, Tech Transformation that knows how to encourage, inspire, and motivate associates to perform in ways that create meaningful change, resulting in an engaged workforce that's empowered to innovate and help shape Broadridge’s future success. The VP, Tech Transformation will provide leadership to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in developing and driving the strategic tech agenda for the organization. This highly visible role will help lead key central initiatives that will increase organizational capability and efficiency, including change initiatives, associate engagement, and communications.

The role reports to the Global CTO and is also responsible for ensuring the Global CTO is fully briefed and prepared for all day-to-day professional interactions and project management, new business ventures and logistical operations. In addition, activities which include but not limited to research, presentation creation, executive briefings, financial reporting, and monthly business reviews. This individual will also partner with other business areas on projects and initiatives. Responsibilities include:

Planning & Management of Tech:

  • Provide leadership over IT transformation by identifying and prioritizing initiatives based on value driven to the business. 
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of mid- and long-term technology strategies, as well as tactics required to drive the business towards our goals. 
  • Rationalize and prioritize automation and business application investments and projects to support sustained operational excellence. 
  • Establish and implement a capital investment model and partner with Product Management to outline our ongoing maintenance, investments, and allocation of capital. 
  • Identify and drive IT efficiency and effectiveness by managing roadmap, projects, budgets, and resource allocation with a hands-on, solution-minded and customer appreciation approach. 
  • Lead strategic planning process to define goals which will inform OKRs and be shared top-level across all of technology.
  • Support the overall goals of the tech transformation: reusability, scalability, reliability, standardization, and “service as a mindset.”
  • Help establish AOP and platform level planning.

Talent, Change Management & Cultural Change:

  • Lead a multi-site, multi-country, multi-functional organization with responsibility over organizational design and overall vision and strategy. 
  • Create IT “Roadshow” and talk points that can be repeated / delivered by all Tech and Product leaders, consumable by all Broadridge associates, that explain what we are doing and why, how we are driving, what the before /after will look like, how it creates business value, etc.
  • Define the new “ways we work” and align to clients, as well as business strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive communications strategy including townhall meeting cadence, newsletters, ask me anything sessions, and regular organizational updates.
  • Plan and facilitate leadership meetings, e.g., set agendas, prepare pre-reads, lead team through establishing/prioritizing/monitoring, etc.
  • Establish CTO Forum with clients, e.g., design agenda, schedule speakers, prepare/synthesize materials. etc.
  • Establish a talent management process for all leadership roles to attract, hire, develop, and provide a leadership bench to retain an extraordinary team capable of exceptional productivity and innovation. 
  • Provide continuous learning opportunities in support of the goals of world class tech talent and cultural transformation.

Tech Strategy:

  • Identify, select, and effectively manage the appropriate external vendors to complement in-house resources and capacity/capability. 
  • Guides and lead change, managing existing and emerging risks and vulnerabilities within the Company’s IT tech stack architecture. 
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment related to required capabilities, systemic or operational deficiencies by developing and communicating a KPI and SLA-based approach for infrastructure, networking and services including Help Desk support. 
  • Partner with the Chief Information Systems Officer (CISO) to implement and manage a comprehensive Information Security, Compliance, and technology Business Continuity program that ensures all company information is secure, company assets are protected, and that the company is in compliance with appropriate government and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA degree preferr
