We're seeking an experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) Plaintiff Personal Injury Reduction Team Lead who combines deep operational expertise with strong leadership skills to drive performance, develop team members, and maximize client recoveries.
This is a hands-on production leadership role responsible for improving team performance while serving as the department's subject matter expert in reductions, settlement operations, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate leads by example, coaches through accountability, and thrives in a high-volume, KPI-driven environment.
Job Description
The Reduction Team Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day performance of the Reductions Department while serving as a hands-on expert in the Plaintiff Personal Injury reductions process.
You will coach team members, monitor KPIs, review complex negotiations, remove workflow bottlenecks, improve turnaround times, and ensure every file progresses efficiently toward settlement.
This role requires someone who has personally owned the reductions lifecycle and can successfully teach others how to maximize client recoveries.
This is a 100% onsite leadership position in Miami Lakes.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Reduction Specialists.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Facilitate daily huddles and workflow meetings.
- Train new employees.
- Reinforce accountability through coaching and performance feedback.
KPI & Performance Management
- Monitor team productivity.
- Track negotiation outcomes.
- Review turnaround times.
- Monitor backlog levels.
- Analyze dashboards and production reports.
- Develop action plans to improve performance.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee reductions from assignment through settlement.
- Review escalated hospital and provider negotiations.
- Review settlement statements.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Verify documentation accuracy.
- Improve workflow efficiency.
Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks.
- Recommend workflow improvements.
- Improve turnaround times.
- Partner with Intake, Medical Management, Senior Case Management, and Operations.
Client Experience
- Ensure timely communication.
- Improve settlement turnaround.
- Monitor quality standards.
- Resolve escalated client concerns.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Plaintiff Personal Injury reductions experience within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or supervising a team.
- Experience independently managing the complete reductions lifecycle from assignment through settlement.
- Experience negotiating:
- Hospital liens
- Hospital bills
- Medical provider balances
- Medical bills
- Experience preparing or reviewing settlement statements.
- Experience coordinating settlement disbursements.
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment.
- Experience coaching employees using KPIs and performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of Litify or Salesfor
