About the Role:

ClosedLoop is looking for a Senior Product Design Manager! In this role, you’ll be one of the first Product Design Managers at ClosedLoop, and lead a growing team to design approachable experiences for data scientists, analysts, and clinical users. You’ll lead projects and support other product designers to solve every day challenges for our users and shape the team’s end-to-end design process, including research. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate highly technical workflows into intuitive interfaces. You’ll mentor and grow a diverse team of product designers.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong interaction design and data visualization skills
• Track record of translating technical workflows into approachable experiences
• Strong collaboration skills, comfortable leading working sessions with engineering
• Comfortable using Figma as the design tool of choice
• Ability to strongly articulate your design work and rationale to your peers and cross-functional team
• Ability to translate the design process into achievable milestones and project plans
• Awareness of best practices for accessibility

What you’ll do:

• Manage a team of product designers to deliver high quality user experiences for multiple user personas
• Coach designers through technical design challenges, ensuring ClosedLoop remains intuitive and approachable
• Lead deliverables in every stage of the design process - from ideation, user flows and  low fidelity frames, to high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes
• Design and facilitate user research and testing. Synthesize findings into actionable recommendations
• Facilitate cross-functional design reviews and coach the team to continuously iterate based on feedback
• Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure product enhancements are delivered per design specifications
• Own and continuously refine of our existing design system and libraries
• Engage with the tools needed to get the job done, including Figma, Asana, JIRA and Confluence
• Communicate proactively with cross-functional project team members and ensure punctuality with deadlines

What you’ve done:

• 3+ years design leadership experience, with direct reports
• 8+ years product design experience
• Experience designing enterprise SaaS products
• Proven track record of leading design process from ideation to launch
