Job Description

This role will support the Global Travel & Expense Sr. Manager (GTM) with delivery and innovation of the global travel and expense program in North America.  You will be responsible for employee facing high touch activities, driving relationships with key partners and the business units as well as maintaining alignment with regional and global goals. Reduce friction across all stages of the travel cycle: pre-trip, while on the road, and post trip (travel expense reimbursement).

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Drive an excellent experience for travelers, travel arrangers (EAs), meeting planners and senior executives
  • Front line assistance with complex visa inquiries
  • Support company events with reporting, communications, and air travel logistics
  • Provide ad-hoc travel and expense reporting as requested
  • Provide ongoing support for T&E issues, case resolution, and root cause analysis
  • Assist with OBT site configuration, maintenance, and optimization
  • Ensure programs, tools, and technologies generate expected outcomes while proactively seeking improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and drive program efficiency, identify savings opportunities and innovative program optimization ideas
  • Implementing T&E tools for new markets

You Offer:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial travel management role in a fast paced corporate or agency organization, or within a financial function within the travel industry 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are in-the-know about the latest and greatest in travel, expense, and card technologies
  •  Excellent communicator and can engage with employees of all levels
  • Proven experience and ability to resolve problems and challenges and establish preventative measures
  • Understanding of TMC (TRAVEL MANAGEMENT COMPANY) business models, OBT, expense, global card programs, and associated technologies
  • You have an understanding and exposure to international travel regulations, including COVID, global travel protocols, passport, and visa requirements

Qualifications

You Offer:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial travel management role in a fast paced corporate or agency organization, or within a financial function within the travel industry 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are in-the-know about the latest and greatest in travel, expense, and card technologies. 
  •  Excellent communicator and can engage with employees of all levels
  • Proven experience and ability to resolve problems and challenges and establish preventative measures
  • Understanding of TMC (TRAVEL MANAGEMENT COMPANY) business models, OBT, expense, global card programs, and associated technologies
  • You have an understanding and exposure to international travel regulations, including COVID, global travel protocols, passport, and visa requirements

  • Advanced user of Concur Travel and Expense
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
