Manufacturing Engineer Interns can expect to learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They develop manufacturing engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools. MEs build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.
What You Will Do:
- Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
- Improve cycle time and lead time
- Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
- Create and oversee improvement projects
- Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
- Perform hardware defect analysis
- Participate in corrective action investigations
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2026 pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or closely related Engineering major
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Value:

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

- Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
