Job Responsibilities:

• Manage Cloud Environments: Oversee and maintain cloud environments in line with company security guidelines.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud systems and applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, and system administrators to resolve issues and implement solutions.
• System Monitoring: Monitor the health and performance of cloud systems, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Deployment: Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the cloud.
• Security: Implement and maintain cloud security controls to protect data and applications.
• Documentation: Document incidents and service requests, maintaining a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.
• Training: Train and guide end-users on how to use cloud services and applications effectively.
• Cost Management: Implement cost-control strategies to optimize cloud resource usage.
• Backup and Recovery: Perform data backups and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven work experience in cloud support or a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex cloud issues.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and end-users.

Certifications: Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect are often preferred.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess and improve cloud system performance.

Security Knowledge: Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
