RemoteCollins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Contracts who will provide business guidance and contribute to the strategic growth goals and develop and maintain trusting relationships with external and internal customers ranging from Air Force, Army, DLA, FAA, and Navy. Additionally, this opportunity will provide a platform to accelerate development and broaden Contracts technical capability.
What YOU Will Do:
You will accelerate development and broaden Contracts technical capability through:
Front-end engagement in structuring sound business & contracts related arrangements.
Ongoing contract administration, preparing and submitting proposals, formalizing contractual documents, identifying and mitigating risks, and interfacing with customers and stakeholders to resolve problems and secure approvals.
Work closely with Program Mangers and other program functions to provide timely, candid advice to stakeholders regarding contractual and business financial issues.
Formulate and implement business strategies to reduce risk, enhance customer satisfaction, building positive customer relationships, improve profitability and support new business opportunities.
Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with Company policies.
Advise stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and mitigation of contractual and program risks
Multi-tasking is a requirement while working in routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge.

Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum 8 years of experience managing contractual terms and conditions under the FAR and DFARS TINA & ITAR, inclusive of proposals and potential business deals.
8 years' experience in the development of contracts strategies to maximize achievement of program financial and performance goals and to minimize potential risks to the business.
Minimum 8 years' experience across all contract types (T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, IDIQ)
Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years' experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
Excellent analytical and solutions development skills
Experience with contract financial structures, pricing strategies, policy & procedure and compliance principles
Proficient in Microsoft Office® suite (primarily Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
