Your Title: Team Lead, Ancillary Product Management

You report to: Manager, CSO & Ancillary Management

About the Opportunity:

First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” by our workforce,  is adding a new partner to our Funding Department to accommodate our remarkable growth!

What you will do:

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Database Management:

o Assist in the design, implementation, and maintain a comprehensive database of all ancillary product providers.

o Regularly update the database with accurate information on different ancillary products offered by each provider.

Ancillary Product Guideline:

o Maintain and update ancillary product guidelines to ensure alignment with company policies and industry standards.

o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to incorporate changes and improvements to the guidelines.

Verification of Cancelable Products:

o Verify the status of cancelable products post-funding to ensure that it is activated properly.

o Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to cancelable products.

Compliance Management:

o Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that all accepted ancillary products adhere to regulatory requirements.

o Conduct regular audits to verify the compliance of existing products and collaborate with compliance officers to address any issues.

o Stay informed about state and federal regulations affecting ancillary products.

o Ensure that all new products introduced into the company's portfolio comply with relevant state and federal regulations.

Company Wide Collaboration:

o   Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, sales, and operations, to streamline processes related to ancillary product management.

o   Provide support to other departments in understanding and adhering to ancillary product guidelines.

Risk Assessment:

o Conduct risk assessments for new ancillary products to identify potential legal, financial, or operational risks.

o Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with risk management teams.

Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to ancillary products, compliance, and regulatory changes.

o Generate regular reports for management, highlighting key metrics, compliance status, and potential areas for improvement.

Training and Development:

o Provide training sessions for internal teams on ancillary product guidelines, compliance requirements, and database utilization.

o Stay updated on industry best practices and share knowledge with team members.

Continuous Improvement:

o Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the Ancillary Product Management department.

o Implement measures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of

ancillary product-related processes.

What you bring:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Must be well organized to keep records on employee performances that are easily accessible especially for Mid-Year/End-of-Year reviews
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in Funding at FHF.
  • Must be a Subject Matter Expert in all policies, procedures and compliance-related topics.
  • Impeccable compliance history with no major violations
  • Understanding or at least have been exposed to ancillary products at FHF
  • Proven experience and success in Funding/CSO/UW at FHF
  • Available to attend department trainings in person
