Our mission is to support and enable the makers who fuel the pursuit of musical expression. We are currently searching for an exceptional Team Lead – Custom Shop to join our team in Corona, CA.

The Team Lead for Custom Shop is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of a group of Team Members under the direction of a Supervisor or Manager. Team Leads are responsible for assisting with meeting quality, production goals and enforce safe work practices. Team Leads will assist in training new/existing employees. Supplement the production line when required. Proactively creating an environment where safety/quality standards are a priority.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing guidance to team members to sustain high performance, quality, safety and adherence to cycle times.
- Monitor/manage Team metrics to goal - daily
- Develops and/or implements new and improved ways of doing work. Makes suggestions that could improve departmental effectiveness and better accomplish work goals.
- Report to and assist Production Supervisor in resolving discrepancies and production issues. Follow up and correct problems.
- Provide input to Department Manager/Supervisor regarding group performance and activities.
- Maintain SQDC performance and other key metrics related to problem solving projects. Capture operator issues and document, hour by hour chart
- Audit line-side material - Ensure stock levels are within Min/Max levels last two hours of the shift
- Lead team meetings
- Conduct workplace organization checklist (verifies team completes tasks); audits and explains corrective actions to team members
- Ensures safety rules, manufacturing instructions, work rules and other manufacturing guidelines are being followed
- Promotes and creates an environment where Team Members work collaboratively and foster a safe and positive work environment.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years Fender operations /manufacturing experience
- Ability to read, understand and communicate in English & Spanish preferred
- Proficient writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction/instruction
- Ability to prioritize

- Demonstrate leadership in and outside of the department in promoting company Values, Code of Conduct and Safety
