It is a very exciting time of growth for our Global Payments team, and we are currently hiring a Business Analyst to provide technical leadership for the payments team. Quisitive's payments services provide robust, cost-effective and secure payment processing supported by the Microsoft Azure cloud. Our flagship product, PayIQ, is an innovative payment processing and data insights product whose solutions are designed to optimize merchant payment processing and consumer engagement operations.  

This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the United States.

What will my role be?

• Working across the organization to take high level, conceptual concepts and produce detail level, functional, and actionable requirements
• Bringing the organization up with their presence by embodying the attributes of our organization and our area.  A positive, helpful, do what it takes individual that uses their skills to enhance our group
• Formulating a plan to identify the business needs with the stakeholders
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to identify the best understood business needs, with the ability to recognize a logical priority of the needs
• Communicate with the stakeholders in business terms, with the ability to translate technical jargon into non-technical language
• Capture, document, and manage both the high-level and detailed business process and requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
• Assess business process inefficiencies and suggest improvements that have tangible business value
• Assess and determine logical work breakdown structures
• Identity success criteria for given deliverables
• Engage with solution architects to confirm proposed designs will fulfill the requirements

What’s required?

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working in enterprise level environments
• Experience working in payments processing, banking, or financial services industries highly desired
• Ability to explore and understand complex business needs and processes, by eliciting conversation, prompting stakeholders to "tell them more"
• Ability to converse across the organization and to tailor their discourse to their audience.  Demonstrates ease and confidence leading discussions in tense or uncertain circumstances to achieve consensus and a way forward
• Business process mapping- demonstrated ability to create comprehensive, understandable maps of cross functional processes
• Independent worker and thinker- able to work without clear/specific direction
• Demonstrated capability to create accurate, succinct, and actionable Epics, Features, and User Stories in conjunction with Project and Product Management
• Able to help support the organization in not only creating but maintaining document and other artifacts
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or similar application lifecycle management tools

What would set me apart?

• Technical writing skills
• Professional BA experience in the payments, banking or financial services industries
