MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in agriculture, business or public administration and three (3) years of professional experience in the field of business, public relations, and/or agriculture, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity. 
 

Professional or paraprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education. 
 

Requires possession of a valid Driver License.

JOB DUTIES:
 

Market Supervision:  Responsible for the operation of the Fort Pierce State Farmers' Market.  Supervise market employees; let or lease space on the market; provide local supervision of market construction and maintenance; keep equipment inventory records and use approved methods of disposing of un-needed inventory; train and instruct the market staff in their required duties and responsibilities; develop and implement effective maintenance programs; maintain an effective market safety program; prepare annual operating budgets and prepare construction budgets. Responsible and accountable for managing budget/dollars/resources (staff, vehicles, computers, cell phones, etc.) of any assigned programs in an ef
