Senior Staff, Product Manager - Service Provider Security Services

Location:  preferred Sunnyvale, CA OR anywhere in the U.S. (depending on relevant work experience) 

We seek a highly passionate and motivated Senior Staff Product Line Manager to join our Infrastructure Security team to own strategy, direction and execution for Juniper's Service Provider (SP) security business for the SP Security & Services markets. This is a highly strategic and visible position for seasoned product managers with a track record of business success. 

Our ideal candidate finds joy evolving a  portfolio to create value, increase market share and delight customers in security large scale infrastructure. Success in this role will require you to draw on your understanding of network security, combine it with your experience in mixing hard data with deep SP and security market insights, and top it off with a passion for Product Management. 

In this role, you must interface effectively and work closely with different functions including sales, software engineering, marketing, business development, finance, technical support, and knowledge experience. We are looking for an energetic and creative professional with a solid background in Service Provider product management, positioning, business strategy, and networking or cloud security.

Charter

• Own the SP Use cases and solution, and customer growth for Juniper’s Connected Security product line
• Full lifecycle ownership of Juniper’s security platform for specific use cases, including lifecycle management from concept to end of life – market analysis, strategy, requirements gathering and definition, pricing, market and field enablement creation and leadership
• Improve product capabilities and usability for SP data center and connectivity markets

Experience/Skills

• Must have experiencing creating strategies to drive business outcomes
• Must have experience working with and understanding SP security or data center markets and challenges
• Must be well versed in the  security, and SP markets with trends, customer deployment models, monetization models and technologies to drive current and evolving business models
• Must have experience with network security technologies
• Must have strong outbound customer focus and experience
• Must be an excellent written and spoken communicator
• Must be a great listener who communicates to understand
• Must enjoy working collaboratively and achieving with others
• Should have experience with security challenges in SP and Data Center technologies 

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience as a Product Manager
• 4+ years working with SP and Data Center market
• BA/BS and/or MBA preferred

• Relocation is/is not available for this position
• Travel requirements for the position 20-40%

Minimum Salary: $179,200.00

Maximum Salary:$257,600.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $179,200.00 and $257,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
