Senior Java Developer

<h2>Short Description</h2> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>University degree  (IT, engineering) background;</li> <li>+5 years experience in Java development;</li> <li>Good knowledge of Object oriented design &amp; programming;</li> <li>Java programming experience;</li> <li>Quality orientation/attention to detail;</li> <li>Good understanding SOA, RESTful and SOAP services;</li> <li>Experience working with J2EE/ JEE Platform (JAX-WS, JAX-RS), Spring Core, Spring Boot, Microservices;</li> <li>Experience working with messages brokers, preferably Kafka;</li> <li>Familiar with Linux operations;</li> <li>Experience working with Agile and Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices.</li> </ul> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain software programs according to set coding standards;</li> <li>Estimate duration of task implementation and unit testing phase;</li> <li>Perform unit testing after implementation to assure that every component of the application</li> <li>that was added or changed is working properly;</li> <li>Investigate and give resolutions for defects (in test, acceptance or production environments);</li> <li>Contribute together with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process;</li> <li>Work in close cooperation with stakeholders and the other squad members;</li> <li>Main technologies: Java, Spring, Kafka.</li> </ul>
