The Strategic Resource Manager will be a new role designed to support the strategically important evolution of Hub’s Commercial Lines P&C business.  The SRM will report directly to the Knowledge Manager at Hub International. The role will be to support Lines of Business, consisting of Complex Risk, ProEx, Property & Casualty. This individual will be responsible for supporting our Practice leadership in sales support, lead generation assistance and act as a point of contact for those Practices. The hire shall be responsible for educating HUB Producers on tools and resources that HUB offers while finding ways to showcase HUB’s unique capabilities in the Practices they support.

The role will be a perfect fit for proactive, and organized self-starters focused on delivering innovative new solutions for our Practices. The ideal candidate will help promote our Practices to generate new business, support client retention as well as build the Practices.

The role has these critical enablers:

  • Act as direct support to Practice leaders
  • Promote the Practices inside Hub
  • Build our collateral on Hub’s intranet
  • Support the sales and client retention process
  • Own the organizational responsibilities for these Practices

Scope of Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement

  • Interface directly with North American Practice leadership, Expert Producers and the broader Practice to present HUB value adds and benefits in a sales meeting and new business pitch environments
  • Work internal and external conferences and events
  • Collateral development & ownership: RFPs, capabilities, benchmarking reports, sell sheets and any practice related collateral & resources
  • Ability to develop and execute vertically driven sales campaigns
  • Promote Marketing & Communications in the creation of and execution of advertisements, microsites, email blasts, and enhancement of Producer social media presence

Technology, Tools and Resources

  • The main point of contact for Product-focused tools & resources
  • Stay aware of and promote new tools and resources across all Practices
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products [OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint] Seismic, Microsoft Dynamics & SharePoint.
  • Communication tools to conduct large-scale meeting [Zoom, Teams]

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or Public Relations or equivalent useful
  • Intermediate abilities in Excel & PowerPoint preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM systems [Microsoft Dynamics] preferred
  • Understanding of SharePoint preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, across all organizational levels
  • Must be a team player, be proactive, collaborative and have excellent relationship building skills
