Senior Data Scientist (E-Commerce Product Development Methodologist)

We are constantly innovating to keep pace with emerging market trends and the increasingly diverse, demanding and connected consumer. </p><p> </p><p>As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled data scientists who design and develop models to enable clients to use our data effectively. </p><p> </p><p>What you'll do </p><ul><li><p>Execute objectives for emerging business-critical E-Commerce deliverables.  </p></li><li><p>Deliver codebase and documentation to local Data Science Operations, Technical and Operations teams. </p></li><li><p>Support E-Commerce deliverables transition from Data Science Product. Measure ownership to local-team-led post-deployment support structure.  </p></li><li><p>Build training for local teams addressing methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions. </p></li><li><p>Use your technical, mathematical and analytical skills to  define and lead global and regional innovation initiatives, methodology development,  KPI development &amp; implementation, standards and best practices.  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prototype as well as support pilot programs for global Research and Development purposes to drive company innovation.     </p></li><li><p>Present analysis and development solutions in bigger forums and discuss and gather the relevant feedback    </p></li><li><p>Drive the development of standardized and scalable methods and tools. </p></li><li><p>Manage multiple projects simultaneously.  </p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We're looking for people who have </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and/or 3 or more years of relevant experience </p></li><li><p>Excellent statistical and logic skills. Experience in trend analysis, sampling, bias reduction, and/or weighting and projection schema  </p></li><li><p>Strong attitude for data analysis and problem-solving skills </p></li><li><p>Good ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-experts  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong communication and collaboration skills </p></li><li><p>Business acumen, the ability to link client's needs with the business </p></li><li><p>Some knowledge of Business Process Improvement and Agile processes </p></li><li><p>E-Commerce and Consumer related knowledge an advantage </p></li><li><p>Experienced in Python programming language </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Knowledge in SQL, working with queries and large-scale databases </p></li><li><p>Eager to continuously learn and adopt changing technologies and tools </p></li><li><p>Fluent in Spanish and Proficient in English </p></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>About NIQ</strong></p><p>NIQ, the world’s leading consumer intelligence company, reveals new pathways to growth for retailers and consumer goods manufacturers.
