Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Ecosystem Development Intern to support the growth and enablement of SanDisk’s ecosystem across consumer devices, platforms, and standards. This role offers hands‑on experience working at the intersection of product platforms, industry standards, and ecosystem readiness within the consumer electronics and removable flash storage space.

The intern will focus on ecosystem analysis, enablement activities, and cross‑functional coordination, working closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to help ensure SanDisk products integrate smoothly into broader device and platform ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze ecosystem platforms, standards, and device categories across segments such as gaming, imaging, mobile, and computing.
  • Support tracking of ecosystem initiatives, deliverables, and documentation using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Conduct market, standards, and competitive analysis to identify ecosystem gaps, trends, and enablement opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation of ecosystem documentation, including compatibility summaries, reference materials, and internal briefs.
  • Help prepare presentations and reports for internal reviews related to ecosystem readiness and adoption.
  • Support coordination of ecosystem workshops, technical reviews, and internal alignment meetings.
  • Gather and analyze data related to ecosystem adoption, platform support, and integration readiness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize technical and market information.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar project management platforms is a plus.
  • Interest in consumer electronics, storage technology, platforms, and standards ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Self‑motivated, curious, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
