Newfi is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a VP of Secondary Marketing to lead and optimize our secondary marketing operations.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of secondary market strategies, including pricing, hedging, loan sales, and investor relations.
• Develop and implement risk-management strategies to optimize loan profitability while mitigating risk exposure.
• Manage loan pipeline, ensuring efficient execution of loan commitments, securitizations, and investor deliveries.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and investor guidelines to inform business strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including Capital Markets, Lock Desk, Sales, and Compliance—to ensure smooth loan execution and adherence to investor and regulatory requirements.
• Lead pricing strategies and manage loan pricing models to maintain competitiveness in the market.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, agencies, and capital market partners to drive loan sale execution and profitability.
• Analyze performance metrics, market data, and execution results to drive continuous improvement in pricing and risk management strategies.
• Serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on market trends, liquidity strategies, and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Secondary Marketing, Capital Markets, or a related function within the mortgage industry.
• Strong understanding of loan pricing, hedging strategies, investor guidelines, and capital markets execution.
• Proven leadership experience in a high-volume mortgage lending environment.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data, monitor market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage investor relationships effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to market fluctuations.
