Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will interact with guests and staff, respond to site needs, and support daily operations with clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance practices within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support orderly operations, observe visitor activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and/or lost and found or customer assistance situations while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
