Internship Program Overview
At ServiceNow, we’re looking for students who want to learn, grow, and take a giant step early in their careers, all while making a giant impact. We offer 12-week summer internship opportunities across various business functions.
Interns will participate in executive speaker series, career development workshops, philanthropic efforts, and team-building activities. Additionally, interns will have access to online learnings and a dedicated Summer Coach to further grow their careers with us.

Are you a forward-thinking student with a passion for machine learning, GenAI, and a keen interest in cybersecurity? Join our dynamic team as a Gen AI - Information Security Engineer Intern. This role is tailored for individuals who possess a strong foundation in machine learning and GenAI, coupled with a desire to apply these skills to enhance ServiceNow's security posture.
As an Information Security Engineer Intern you will:
Self-Directed Project (50%):
- Drive a self-directed project focusing on the development of innovative tooling using machine learning to bolster ServiceNow's security infrastructure.
- Aim for prototype-quality deliverables, showcasing creativity and technical prowess.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security enhancements seamlessly.
Additional Responsibilities (50%):
- Network with peer teams in Security, and GenAI at ServiceNow to learn more about different real-world applications for GenAI.
- Do one or more of the following to learn more about security at ServiceNow: Ride along with our Purple Team engagement, participate in new service security reviews, or join threat modeling sessions to build comprehensive threat models for emerging services.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a full-time student pursuing a Masters degree, in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Graduating December 2024, or later
