What you’ll be able to do:
Assist in conducting reviews of the analysis methods and results with module owners and module design teams to ensure compliance with Ford’s standards and identify long lead program considerations. Work with a team to monitor Electronic Circuit Design verification processes and documents in addition to reviewing and approving suppliers’ electronic manufacturing processes. Provide the technical voice at module and subsystem design reviews and own the upper body EE hardware, electronic circuit design processes, electronic design process, and implementation standards. Review hardware checklists, worst case circuit analysis documents, Ford General Electrical requirements, and robustness documents to ensure Ford Motor Company maintains a leadership position with the state-of-the-art technologies and system subsystem integration as related to Upper Body electronics development. Support the launch sign-off process and provide consultation as necessary while ensuring product documentation, engineering specifications, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (“FMEA”) meet with Ford and industry standards. Resolve electronic design questions, issues, and concerns for Ford’s global operations, including technical design review support.

You'll have...
- Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, engineering, computer science, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience developing products in the automotive industry.
- Also requires 3 years of experience: designing electrical components or electrical systems; conducting circuit analysis or review; and developing and managing failure mode effect analysis.
- Requires 3 years of experience using circuit simulation or analysis software.
- Requires 1 year of experience reviewing and interpreting requirements; and evaluating and interpreting requirement compliance testing results.
- Employee reports to office in Dearborn, MI. Position may work from home, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $90,355 to $173,371 per year.
