We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in McKinney, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

 

Responsibilities:

- Perform discovery and analysis of requirements based on current system functions, and business needs

- Elicit business requirements

- Translate business requirements to functional requirements

- Produce Data maps between source and target systems

- Interpret data and analyze results

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

- Project co-ordination

- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

- Experience in system migrations efforts

 

Basic Qualifications:

- 5 years as a Business Analyst or Business Data Analyst

- 3 years of Interpreting data, analyzing results

- 3 years in Data mapping projects

- 3 years of SQL

- Data mapping between systems

- Project coordination

 

Preferences/Nice to have:

- Life insurance industry experience

 

Education:

- Bachelors degree in a related field.
