Job Summary:
As a Residential Solar QA & Partner Success Intern, you will be part of IGS’s fast-paced emerging solar business, supporting day-to-day operations through complex analytical tasks and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a strong understanding of the solar industry and contributes directly to scaling the business efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities
Gain cross-functional experience in areas such as document management, UCC application processing, solar system monitoring, reporting and analytics, contract management, quality assurance, data analysis, finance, IT, and collaboration with EPC partners.
Review and process high volumes of invoices to ensure compliance with IGS standards.
Audit partner shading reports for accuracy, identifying errors such as mis-sized or missing trees and incorrect house dimensions.
Create and update user guides, job aids, and training documentation.
Review and audit completed work for accuracy, make necessary corrections, and report status updates to management.
Demonstrate a strong drive for results, efficiency, continuous improvement and contribute to team goals by consistently meeting accuracy, service level, and financial targets.
Required Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, nested IF statements, Boolean logic).
Strong typing skills and ability to quickly adapt to new processes and technologies.
Eagerness to learn and improve business tools and workflows.
Ability to master various web-based business applications.
Excellent organizational and document management skills; tech-savvy with high attention to detail.
Positive attitude, self-motivated, analytical, and results-oriented.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
Education & Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, IT, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in solar or renewable energy is a plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint).

Salary Range:
$31,200.00 - $62,400.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
