ERP Business Systems Analyst - Order to Cash

JOB PURPOSE:

The Order to Cash (OTC) Business Analyst’s role is a direct hire position performing configuration, analysis, design, and problem-solving services to Alphia’s internal and external business partners. This role will serve as an internal consultant providing leadership to various members of the Alphia team by learning and understanding the business processes and requirements of the system at a depth sufficient to assist in the design and implementation of the appropriate OTC solutions or modifications.  In this position you will be responsible to learn how to configure or support Order to Cash in ERP applications including but not limited to Sage X3 (ERP), WMS, and reporting.  This includes participation in requirements gathering, process flowing, designing, creating SOP’s, and rolling out solutions following the highest standards of professionalism. 

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Participate in ERP/WMS internal consulting and support services to Alphia associates with heavy emphasis on the cross functional Inventory and EDI application components.  Support and maintain the clients’ ERP/WMS design and configuration by logging defects, learning to solve end user problems, answering module-related questions, and documenting, testing, and validating functionality.   As new Customer requests come up, this individual will act as a PM for coming up with the proper implementation and execution of the work.  They will aid in training as well.

• Will need excellent collaborative and teamwork skills in order to work with Alphia associates and partners to accomplish extraordinary results
• Will need exceptional communication, teamwork, and technical skills to collaborate on new functionality which includes collecting requirements, configuring, and performing QA testing in test environments as well as loading data for Production.
• Learn Alphia’s Sage X3 configuration, administration, master data and transactions as it relates to OTC.
• Help organize and lead business meetings to gather and validate user’s requirements
• Build and execute unit / end to end testing (build test cases, perform tests, and make changes to configuration or processes based on results)
• Follow an agile implementation approach to facilitate rapid deployments
• Participate in demonstrations to users throughout the projects to validate design
• Communicate with Alphia team members and partners to coordinate information exchange for support of systems changes
• Develop and administer user support documentation and provide training and coaching to associates
• Learn to develop reports and queries in support of the business needs
• Perform problem solving skills/data detective as issues arise to solve OTC tickets.
• Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to Alphia’s business systems development methodology and/or its Systems Development Life Cycle
• Act as evangelist for CPG/ERP best practice benefits across the organization

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Sciences
• The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in ERP configuration & navigation with at least 5 years of experience in Process Manufacturing in the CPG industry
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with business users understand and document detailed requirements
• Maintain a strong understanding of business processes and best practices
• Strong presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Ability and willingness to learn business system configuration and development
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience with Sage X3 is a major plus
• Experience in SQL query development is a plus
• Experience in Crystal Reports development is a plus
• Exposure to agile project methodologies is a plus
• Experience in business process flowcharting techniques

Education

• College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Systems
