Job Summary:

The Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, seeks clinician-educators that are committed to a career as a clinician practicing and teaching palliative medicine with the Palliative Care Service, nationally recognized by the Joint Commission Advanced Certification in Palliative Care for over a decade. Full-time and part-time positions will be considered at the Instructor, Sr. Instructor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor faculty rank.

Clinical duties include attending on the Palliative Care Consult Service and/or the Palliative Care Clinic at the UCHealth Anschutz Medical Campus. Teaching activities may include leading formal/informal teaching sessions. Academic responsibilities may include active participation in palliative care quality improvement initiatives or other scholarly activities.

The clinician-educator will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician, educator and scholar.

Work Location:

Onsite – This role is expected to work onsite and is located in the Denver Metro Area.
