Implement strategies for optimum inventory levels, control and availability of materials.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ensure the safety and security of warehouse facilities and staff. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Manage and oversee the performance of warehouse facilities and staff across multiple locations and ensure compliance with international warehousing regulations and standards.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Long-term volume planning with tendering and negotiation of warehouse services and storage locations. </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless warehousing operations.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Develop, implement, and monitor optimization strategies for operational processes. Create business cases for cost-efficient implementation and define and manage KPIs to steer and improve global warehousing and parts availability.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Negotiate contracts and rates with service providers to achieve cost savings.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Develop and manage the warehousing budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to enhance operational efficiency.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve processes.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and customers.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span><b>To be successful in this role we expect you to have: </b></span></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li><span><span>Approx. 5 years of experience in warehousing and warehouse setup</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Min. 1 year of experience and skills in leading international teams</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Continuous improvement skills</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Readiness to travel internationally </span></span></li> <li><span><span>Good negotiation and presentation skills</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Cost awareness and effectiveness</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span>In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world.
