About the role

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, dedicated exclusively to this client with full integration into company systems. Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm PST with one hour of unpaid break. 
  • Client Timezone: Pacific Time (California)
Overview:

You'll take ownership of the complete financial operations for a mission-driven healthcare company that's making a real difference in addiction treatment and mental health care. This is your opportunity to build robust financial processes from the ground up, transitioning the company from manual Google Sheets workflows to sophisticated QuickBooks Pro systems. You'll work directly with leadership, have full autonomy over financial workflows, and play a crucial role in supporting the company's national expansion plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Migrate all financial data from Google Sheets to QuickBooks Pro system with proper categorization and structure
  • Create, distribute, and manage invoices for services provided to 150+ treatment centers
  • Execute accounts receivable management and collections to optimize cash flow
  • Process payroll for 45+ employees using Rippling system with accuracy and timeliness
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain precise financial records for healthcare compliance
  • Generate financial analysis reports including provider margins, profitability metrics, and operational insights
  • Input visit data and service costs from medical support teams into organized QuickBooks workflows
  • Provide strategic guidance on financial processes and recommend system improvements
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant financial documentation and data security protocols
  • Support leadership with financial insights to drive business growth and expansion decisions
Requirements: 
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Pro with ability to provide strategic process recommendations
  • Proven experience with data migration and financial system implementation
  • Strong background in accounts receivable management and collections processes
  • Experience with Rippling payroll system or similar payroll platforms
  • Excellent English communication skills for professional client interactions
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred due to HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated trustworthiness and reliability in handling sensitive financial information
  • Bonus if you have experience with healthcare billing or treatment center operations
  • It helps if you're familiar with scaling financial operations for growing companies
