Assistant Professor - field of early psychosis

Description
The position focuses primarily on advancing knowledge in the field of early psychosis.
Specific duties include:
Assisting with leadership of two large NIMH-funded multi-center studies for youth at CHR; including developing experience with oversight of: site management, recruitment and retention, data quality, fiscal resources, and NIMH reporting
Establishing an independent research focus in early psychosis
Securing independent funding for research in early psychosis
Prescribing study medication for youth at CHR participating in clinical trials
Prescribing clinical medication for PRIME Clinic patients
Other clinical responsibilities as interested
· Teaching responsibilities as invited or as interested
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated academic productivity, hold the degree of Medical Doctor and have completed a psychiatry residency. In addition, applicants must be license eligible in the State of Connecticut to practice medicine, be a US citizen, or permanent resident, or holder of visa permitting employment.
