Manager, Inside Account Management

GitHub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software together. GitHub is seeking a Manager to help lead our Corporate Account Management team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coaching and leading a strong Account Management team towards delivering the best experience to our customers and driving usage of GitHub.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, development, and training to our Corporate Account Management team
- Hire, onboard, and promote amazing talent
- Implement processes & tools to help improve the productivity & efficiency of our Account Management team
- Build relationships and provide value and attention to customers
- Advocate for the overall health of relationship to GitHub acting proactively to address issues and concerns
- Drive upsell/upgrades of GitHub Enterprise Products and services in existing accounts and manage account renewals
- Advocate for training and services, where needed, for customer success
- Manage strategy for exceeding quotas by team
- Forecasting and Pipeline management of region
- Develop talent by implementing training best practices and programs
- Coach, mentor, and develop all individual members on your team
- Shape, iterate, and scale our sales strategy, taking initiative to improve the team's practices, tools, and content
- Work collaboratively across sales, engineering, marketing, channel, product and customer success
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of meaningful leadership / relevant experience in a sales organization
- Consistent track-record of team top performance and exceeding quota
- In office Wednesdays & Thursdays either in San Francisco, CA or Bellevue, WA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling into Engineering and IT.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment , be Flexible (ability to work across different time zones), able to think quickly, self-directed and resourceful.
- Strong customer orientation, dedication, ability to assess customer needs and passion for delivering a great customer experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for mentoring and achieving results.
Minimum salary of $100,440 to maximum $186,600.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
Location: In this role, you will be working onsite in GitHub’s Bellevue, Washington office.
