The Role:

AppLovin’s in-house creative team, SparkLabs, is looking for a Jr. Creative Project Manager. You would be joining a team that is responsible for creating a variety of video, graphic, and playable ad creatives designed for AppLovin’s clients. This is a great opportunity for a creative individual with solid project management and organizational skills to grow professionally in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment. The perfect candidate will be hungry to learn, extremely attentive to detail, and an enthusiastic, hard-working team player with some knowledge of digital marketing, mobile marketing, and/or ad tech!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Management   
    • Understand all facets of the project and write clear detailed creative briefs.   
    • Liaise between cross functional teams (specifically: creative vendors, designers, and business teams) to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet expectations.
    • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of creative projects to meet business’ needs.
    • Update and maintain team resource pages and documentation.
    • Review deliverables from vendors and provide detailed creative feedback.
  • Communications & Relationship Management   
    • Build strong working relationships with SparkLabs stakeholders.
    • Manage communication and approvals between creative and business teams.
    • Be highly responsive to internal and external questions pertinent to the project.
    • Manage and mitigate day to day problems, ensuring strong and effective communication in difficult and time sensitive situations.
    • Understand when (and why) to escalate issues and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure next steps are aligned and completed.

Your Profile:

  • 1-2 years experience working in a project management role (preferably in a fast-paced creative agency or marketing team, managing multiple creative projects simultaneously).
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects 
  • Understanding of art, design, technical fundamentals and creative asset management.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Asana, Confluence, Zoom, and other management tools.
  • Organized, detail oriented, and exceptional communicator.
  • Results oriented and interested in working with data to produce high-engagement ads.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Great interpersonal skills and an ability to humanize the process of project management.
  • Experience building and managing projects in Asana.
  • An eagerness to make the events process run smoothly and support all team members.
  • An ability to work in the U.S. but coordinate with teams in other time zones.
  • Knowledge of marketing and a love of all things tech and mobile.
  • Fast learner, creative and critical thinker.
  • Basic understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem.

Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
