Description

The NFC Mobile Wallet and WLC Firmware R&D manager leads team of firmware developers, testers and project leaders. The team is developing embedded firmware running on microprocessors of NFC ( Near Field Communication) and Wireless charging transceivers.

The projects are executed in close alignment with other domains teams part of the system especially system architect, digital and analog hardware development and middleware teams.

She / He is responsible for the team leading and team development. She/He is responsible for the execution of a project portfolio within the defined timeline and budget.

He/She likes to work in multicultural and highly complex environments and likes to innovate in both product and organisational developments.

The NFC & WLC Mobile Firmware R&D manager reports to the NFC and UWB  Software R&D Manager

He / She has experience in the firmware development for mobile phone markets with frequent customers interactions and short Time to Market.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Directly responsible for execution of Full NFC Wallet and WLC mobile firmware projects portfolio according to the product roadmap (specification, quality, time, money, information, and organization) according to the business and customers’ priorities.
• Own the engineering development flow to guarantee quality and productivity of the team
• Manage the team resources split over 4 different sites directly or indirectly thru resource managers in accordance to the NXP values to favorize growth and performance
• He is representing the firmware team in front of customers for technical and strategical discussions.
• He is representing the firmware team during the Business Line roadmap definition meetings.
