Job Summary
Premier Bone and Joint Centers is Wyoming's largest provider of orthopedic care with over 50 years of serving the community. We are proudly partnered with The University of Wyoming and exclusively offer orthopedic care for all members of The University of Wyoming Athletic Teams.
Provide support to the Human Resources department, by identifying, recruiting, and screening potential employees for specific positions for all departments, as well as help organize and attend specific recruiting events, such as job fairs. Participate and help organize company events focused on employee engagement and recognition. Assist with new employee onboarding, compiling employee personnel files, benefit enrollment, employee maintenance, employee relations, resignations and terminations, annual compliance training, performance reviews, and professional development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities – Human Resources
Recruiting
- Knowledge of staffing requirements
- Open positions within the HR management software, Paylocity
- Post and maintain job ads on external job placement websites (Wyoming at Work, Facebook, Handshake, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Coordinate interviews with applicants and directors/managers
- Initiate background screenings and reference checks on select candidates
- Coordinate employment offers and follow recruiting workflow up until launching the onboarding process
- Distribute rejection notifications to non-selected applicants and close jobs after positions have been filled
- Help organize and attend job fairs throughout the state
- Design and create ads/flyers/displays for recruiting events
Onboarding
- Communicate with new employees and ensure all required documentation is obtained before establishing a start date
- Meet with new employees on their first day and issue them their ID Badge, along with their logins and passwords to the required software systems they will need to access
- Help orient new employees in coordination with their department manager/supervisor/director
New Hires
- Coordinate and present new employee orientations on a monthly basis
Employee Files
- Help maintain employee files, both present and former files, as required by state and federal law
Employee Morale
- Promote a high level of employee morale and motivation
- Distribute Anniversary cards to employees each month
- Help with employee appreciation events and gifts
Employee Privacy
- Protect employee privacy and confidentiality in all issues that may arise
Benefit Enrollment
- Review insurance benefits with new employees and help them get enrolled with selected insurance plans
- Help organize and coordinate Open Enrollment for staff, as well as communicate any changes made to the company’s benefits package
- Review retirement benefits with new employees and help them get enrolled in the company’s plan
- Help organize and coordinate enrollment meetings with the company’s Wealth Management advisors and help employees with their enrollment
Employee Separation
- Record all resignation notifications within the HR Management software
- Schedule and perform Exit Interviews and communicate feedback to the appropriate manager/supervisor/director
- Ensure that employment status has been changed and benefits have been terminated
Employee Relations
- Help promote a positive working environment and help facilitate positive employee relationships
- Address employee issues with the appropriate manager/supervisor/director as needed and requested
- Maintain an open line of communication with staff to promote high employee morale and a professional atmosphere
Assist with Payroll Processing
- Process bi-weekly payroll using our HR Management software
- Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and any other deductions
- Help managers/supervisors/directors review and make any needed adjustments to timesheets
- Pull timesheet and review downloaded information for completeness and accuracy
Shared Duties
Communication
- Maintain an open line of communication with physicians and staff, to promote high employee morale and a professional clinic atmosphere
- Handle a variety of matters involving contact with various staff and the public
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner utilizing the appropriate chain of command

- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the field by reading appropriate articles, journals, and related material, and by attendi
