Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><u><strong>The role</strong></u></p><p>Internal Controls provide independent assurance of the effectiveness of management's control of business activities (the first line) and of the control processes maintained by the Risk Framework Owners and Policy Owners (the second line).</p><p>The Senior Internal Control Analyst will contribute to the management of the permanent control plans and their execution, in particular but not limited to control of:</p><ul><li>Internal processes and procedures and their correct application,</li><li>Compliance with the laws and regulations in force and in particular with the order of 3 December 2014 including reporting obligations, own funds management, quality of data, IT security etc.</li><li>The compliance of new products and activities,</li><li>The fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism,</li><li>The control of employee ethics.</li></ul><p><u><strong>How you’ll make an impact</strong></u></p><ul><li>Formalize and execute the 2nd level permanent controls to ensure that the management company operates in accordance with the regulations in force and that managers and employees comply with internal procedures.</li><li>Maintain the risk register updated so internal controls fits the reality of the activities.</li><li>Regularly report on identified findings and follow up on action plans until their remediation</li><li>Validate the internal systems and check that the permanent and operational monitoring functions are correctly fulfilled, and ensure that procedures manuals are updated, and they're available to staff, that they're kept up to date and that they describe for each operation carried out.</li><li>Propose enhancements and track the implementation of corrective measures agreed with the risk owner</li><li>Be proactive to propose controls and solutions following control testing.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><u><strong>What we’re looking for </strong></u></p><ul><li>A university degree and experience in risk/compliance/assurance (5 years or more). An Institute of Internal Audit, internal control, or ACAMS certification is desirable.</li><li>Experience in compliance and an understanding of how different risk types relate to processes</li><li>You're a good communicator and can work both in French/English.</li><li>Knowledge of European regulation, capability to conceive or adapt a control test based on regulatory requirements</li><li>Strong analytical skills and experience with industry, regulatory developments and willingness to learn new concepts and methods.</li><li>Analytical, risk focused and capable of using data analytics to gain insights into transactions, clients and products</li><li>A detailed understanding of financial institutions operations and regulations.</li><li>Reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues.</li><li>Experience with the regulator is preferable.</li><li>Problem solving mindset.</li><li>Curious and willing to discover all aspects of the business, with the ambition to advance your career in an international environment.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Apply without meeting all requirements statement </strong></p><p>If you don't meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
