This role involves providing analytical insights to enhance decision-making and organizational efficiency. Success requires navigating cross-functional settings and dynamic environments. Translating complex data into actionable insights is key. Analytical thinking is crucial for addressing inconsistencies in metrics or identifying emerging trends.</p><p>As a Senior Strategy &amp; Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Integrating and standardizing engineering and operational data from multiple systems into coherent, unified formats.</li><li>Defining and monitoring metrics by collaborating with Engineering Ops leaders and PMO stakeholders for reporting.</li><li>Identifying and investigating anomalies in engineering data, suggesting corrective actions or data-quality improvements.</li><li>Ensuring collaboration with program managers, engineering leaders, and product teams for aligned reporting goals.</li><li>Recommending and implementing data governance and analytics best practices within Engineering Operations effectively.</li><li>Ensuring requirements gathering, user testing, and tool adoption using platforms like Tableau, Power BI or equivalent.</li></ul><p><strong>Do what you love</strong></p><p>To be successful in this role you will:</p><ul><li>Bring 3-5 of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or a comparable role.</li><li>Understand software development processes, Agile methodologies, and engineering KPIs.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency using SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.</li><li>Demonstrate experience in PMOs, transformation initiatives, or engineering operations.</li><li>Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking abilities with a detail-focused mindset and organizational aptitude.</li><li>Present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences using exceptional communication and presentation skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Work in a way that works for you</strong></p><p>FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
