Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

About This Job

Axos is looking for a Wire Transfer Processor who will be responsible for accurately processing outgoing wires, to ensure information was properly entered into the system in accordance with the customer's directive.

Responsibilities:

• Process wire transfers in accordance with the department's policies and procedures.
• Reviewing outgoing wire transfer forms to ensure validity of information provided.
• Upon identification of any questionable issues, immediately notify the Loss Preventions and BSA Department for further instructions.
• OFAC review of outgoing wire transfers, which may include escalation to BSA/Compliance Department
• Provide excellent customer service by the timely completion/accuracy in processing wires.
• Assist in the completion of the department's general ledger and wire balancing.
• Maintain documentation to remain within regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Communicate with customers and other internal departments properly addressing any wire concerns/issues.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wire transfers.
• 2 years' banking experience in an operational role, or similar experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong telephone skills.
• Has a thorough understanding of all functions of the wire processor.
• Has an excellent understanding of Bank systems as well as policies & procedures.
• May perform as a utility person for the department.
• May perform investigations.
• Has excellent verbal communication skills and good problem solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of risk conditions and able to effectively partner with Relationship Managers to communicate risks for decisions.
