Senior Automation Mechanic - 3rd Shift

Position Summary:

As a Senior/Lead Automation Mechanic, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of colleagues in a positive manner while managing the required daily operational functions of the backend mail pharmacy. Build a strong team through training and developing talent in new and tenured colleagues. Perform weekly quality audits and review with the members of your team. Utilize your strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver positive and constructive feedback in a professional manner. Conduct weekly five-minute meetings with colleagues to communicate company information. Participate in vertical conference calls to discuss process changes and improvements. Evaluate both the workload and talent on a daily basis to maximize production and output.

Required Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with physical labor including:
  • Crawling under conveyor and working in confined spaces.
  • Lifting 60Ibs without assistance.
  • Climbing ladders and industrial platforms.
  • Comfortable in Aerial Lifts.
  • Able to Walk and be on feet for 90% of shift.
  • Working with Dirty equipment during Preventative Maintenance.
• 5+ years of risk assessment skills including ability to understand a process and determine how a change can affect that process.
• 5+ years of project management skills with ability to multi-task & prioritize.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am, and Saturday 12:00am-8:30am.

• Candidates hired for the Senior Automation Mechanic role are provided tools by CVS Health upon training. No requirement to provide your own.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

• Lead and mentor Automation Mechanics in multiple disciplines to improve their abilities and efficiency.
• Champion safety guidelines in regard to LOTO, OSHA and company policy.

• Troubleshooting and maintenance for automation robotics, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems in a sophisticated automated large volume pharmaceutical dispensing facility.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and systems to ensure optimal performance, such as troubleshooting electro-mechanical control systems and supporting the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems.
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment, notifying the Manager of any concerns regarding major repairs needed or any additional equipment needed to support the pharmacy automation equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area for all employees.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and procedures.
