Saint Luke's Hospital Medical Education OBGYN Clinic is looking for a caring, patient centered Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our team!  This position will work in a highly  collaborative environment with a team of well-respected OB/GYNs in a fast paced, teaching outpatient clinic.  In this role, patient care is performed with considerable independence, guided by physician-approved protocols, and evaluated through chart review, consultations, and the observation of results under the general medical direction of an a OBGYN Collaborating Provider. You will join a team of four APPs to deliver care to approximately 18-20 patients per day, providing for a varied and fun work environment!

Responsibilities include:

• Provide comprehensive, evidenced based care to OB and GYN patients in collaboration with  physicians/residents to ensure the best outcomes
• Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
• Educate patients, families, and residents, to diagnosis and treatment options to foster learning and empower patients to participate in care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
• Maintain adequate and properly documented records
• Assist in education of medical students rotating through the clinics

Qualifications:

• Master of Nursing Degree – Required
• WHNP – Preferred
• Active RN license in Missouri
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently

Hours:

40 hour/week M-F, no weekend, no call position

Advanced Practice Provider Cert(MO/KS) - Various, Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
