About the role
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll work closely with engineering, UX, and other product managers to deliver core functionality to improve Galaxy's performance, connectivity, scalability, and security. This is an incredible opportunity to solve some of our most strategic and hardest technical and customer problems in the data space. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will work alongside a Group Product Manager with a 6-12 month roadmap within our control plane team. This roadmap balances the needs of customers and internal teams with clear prioritization based on data-driven customer insights
  • You will smartly balance metric movers, addressing customer feedback and strategic/delighter features in prioritizing
  • You will defend your prioritization decisions with your team and leaders.
  • You will collaborate with teams globally across multiple time zones and operate in an Agile development environment
  • You will align with other teams that depend on you across the company to ensure you understand their future needs and our roadmap is unblocked and timelines are in-sync
  • You will own cross-functional interactions for your features 
  • You will collect & summarize usage data/dashboards for decision-making and OKR tracking

Valued Experience:

  • Experience as a Senior Product Manager or Technical Product Manager
  • A deep understanding of the technical landscape and markets and strong experience working with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing work while effectively collaborating with teams for multiple products dependent on your roadmap
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated personality with a track record for delivering results in a fast-moving environment
The base salary range for this US full-time position is $160,000 - $180,000 subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. All candidates receive equity (ISO) and access to a comprehensive benefits offering. The base salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for candidates across all US locations. Work location, skills, experience, and any relevant education or training determine the compensation awarded to the candidate.
