As a DevOps Software Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software applications. You will work closely with our DevOps team to design, implement, and automate infrastructure, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of software solutions. 

What you'll be doing 

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using tools like Azure Cloud, Github, Docker and Pulumi. 

• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and eliminate manual steps in the process. 

• Develop and maintain GitHub Actions workflows to automate build, test, and deployment processes. 

• Use GitHub APIs to automate tasks, such as creating and managing issues, pull requests, and releases. 

• Participate in regular team meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure open communication and continuous improvement. 

What you'll bring 

• Baxter is targeting students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Ideal candidates will combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities. 

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree. 

• Experience with Python, C# and C++ is a must.  

• Experience with DevOps tools and environments like Golang, Azure Cloud, Git, Github, .NET, Pulumi, Nix, Docker, Buildpacks and CI/CD. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Demonstrated leadership qualities and problem-solving skills. 

• Positive attitude, team-oriented, adaptive to change, and collaborative. 

• Actively involved in campus or community activities and organizations, preferably in leadership roles.
