Description:

The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 3rd through August 2nd. We are committed to your professional development so during your time here, you can expect to participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, speaker series, volunteer activities, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with your global peers across the world!  

 

The 2024 Hajimari will work on:

Coordination and implementation of several Operations Culture projects across our 3 sites in the US

  • Create a 3-tier harmonized onboarding resource. This will help create standardization across all parts of the business and set new hires up for success
    • Manager toolkit
    • Employee handbook
    • Department binders
  • Create help pilot a platform that allows for collaboration across new members of the organization
  • Help create a sustainable engagement/recognition program across all sites

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Department Staff Meetings and Team events to build network & learn about the Shiseido culture 
  • Present project status during monthly Executive Review meetings to improve presentation & communication skills 
  • Participate in a specific taskforce and/or process improvement initiative to learn more about the Operations organization and how to lead/drive process optimization  

 

Requirements:

  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and be highly organized 
  • Maintain professionalism while interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization  
  • Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
  • Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, digital-first, work environment 
  • Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty, fragrance and consistently keep up to date with emerging trends
