Description 

The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 3rd through August 2nd. We are committed to your professional development. During your time with us, you will participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, a diverse speaker series, and volunteer activities. You will also have the opportunity to connect with your peers across the world!  

 

Talent Development Intern

We are the Shiseido Americas Talent Development Team! We support our employees throughout their career journeys, providing learning opportunities for career advancement, upskilling, and mentorship along the way. We also support Shiseido Americas’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, specifically our six Employee Affinity Groups. As the Talent Development Intern, you will work on programs and projects which enable the growth and development of Shiseido Americas’ employees. You will gain hands on DEI, Data and Analytics, and Learning & Development experience.

We are looking for a team player who will bring a fresh perspective and forward-thinking mindset to contribute to our initiatives for 2024 and beyond in meaningful and lasting ways.

 

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Talent Development Team to support key aspects of the Shiseido Americas Mentorship Program including survey administration, reporting, and analytics.
• Design scalable employee engagement strategy to increase activation and utilization of LinkedIn Learning in the Americas region.
• Administer feedback surveys to learning program participants, and report on findings to inform future improvements.
• Partner with Employee Affinity Group Leaders, the DEI Team, and Corporate Communications to support updates to Talent Development and DEI intranet pages.
• Partner with Employee Affinity Group Leaders to ensure successful execution of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month and Juneteenth events including communication, on-site event coordination, and participant tracking.
• Perform administrative tasks including program scheduling and tracking attendance.
• Maintain the Talent Development initiative and project calendar.
• Organize online shared document repositories and folders (i.e. SharePoint).
• Assist in conducting research to enhance Talent Development and DEI initiatives.

 

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
