Pay Range
$48,500.00-$66,700.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The Accounts Payable Technician is responsible for the timely and accurate processing, verification, and analysis of accounts payable transactions. This role also supports JM plants, staff groups, and vendors in resolving accounts payable issues.

Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, ensuring proper discounts are taken, prices are correct, and invoices are coded to the appropriate accounts.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and ensure proper authorization.
- Enter invoices into the system, file documents, and research imbalances and other accounts payable issues.
- Adhere to internal controls and policies.
- Follow transaction entry verification procedures.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and emails, providing timely follow-up and resolution of any issues.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: (education, skills, and abilities)
- High School/Technical School diploma.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic organizational skills.
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Minimal travel required (0-10 days per year).
- Typical office work environment.
